Sucks that he’s so overpaid,
but we aren’t paying out a 1st to get rid of a guy who actually played well (in his role) for us

Yeah, theres no way im moving a first to get rid of him. Also, not to be too cold here, but hes a stiff breeze from ltir. That could very likely be a top 10 pick for a guy that- at the very worst, plays a responsible (if incredibly slow) fourth line role. I would go so far as to say i wouldnt even move a second to get rid of him. We need the assets too badly.

Same goes for Neal. He's overpaid but he still scores goals and his possession metrics were pretty decent in a bottom-6 role.

How did you manage to get both of Byfield and Lafreniere here? Are you suggesting that the Edmonton 1st is the 1st overall? If it's not, that's a decent value trade. If it is, there's absolutely no way they go for that.
