I think buffalo would look for a little more than this for montour. Raanta is fantastic, but only has 1 year left on his deal and is injury prone. Maybe upgrading Oesterle to a younger guy with nhl ability rather than a guy who’s ceiling is a bottom pair kinda guy

That makes sense. With the Coyotes, I'd be inclined to believe that guys like Chychrun and OEL are off limits. Demers and Hjalmarsson are also both available, but they're both older and both on expiring contracts just like Raanta. We could give one of them up, but I'm not sure you guys would be interested in taking on Demers or Hjalmarsson - Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade over Oesterle. Arizona could also upgrade the pick going to Buffalo in the deal to sweeten things if that provided any more incentive.

Probably wouldn't mind taking Ristolainen instead of Montour alternatively, but there would be less of a return in that deal.
