You're seriously underestimating the value of taking on $6 million in cap and seriously overestimating the value of Will Butcher -- Fowler would immediately be New Jersey's best defenseman.

I wouldn't do it. Never been a fan of P.K. IMO, he only got a Norris because he played in MTL. He can't defend and gets caught out of position all the time. Pass.
