I think that's actually a pretty good trade for Detroit. Thanks for sharing!

A choice between him and Toffoli. Based on what I've seen reported, the latter is more likely to be kept along with Markstrom.

There's space for him for 1 year - get rid of TVR

Fixed, however this scenario requires a team to take on Sutter's awful deal for a year.

For a 4 million anchor under contract 1 more year, it's fair.

The problem with this is there's very little cap space available for 2021 when Petey and Hughes need extensions. If the Canucks are paying to get rid of bad contracts, they have to be looking at Eriksson, Beagle or Roussel, not Baertschi or Sutter.

Also not signing Toffoli would help. I have never understand why some people want him back so badly.

Dealt Eriksson already, changed Baertschi to a buyout and use his assets with Beagle

Might cost a bit more if VAN has to dump Loui via trade, but you're on the right track I think

I liked the Detroit deal with Sutter more than I do with Beagle.

no chance Gaudette gets more than Virtanen especially that much. JV is going to get closer to 3.25m . Ferland has a NMC that is still in effect this year so you cant send him down as he would have to pass through waivers and he cant due to the NMC. Canucks will probably either trade Stecher or let him walk and use one of Rafferty,Fantenberg or Juolevi and save cap space for other area's
