Description

I know this site hates on neal even tho he’s a decent reliable player. Foolish to think teams wouldn’t be interested in a pp specialists. Panthers looking to shed payroll but can’t just let Hoffman and/or dadonov walk without replacing. Neal at 5x3 is more of a price figure I think panthers would be interested in than Hoffman or dadonov will be looking for.

I don't think Florida would go for this. They're losing money as it is, they won't take on Neal's contract.

Contract is the point. It replaces Hoffman and/or dadonov for less money and term.... they can’t just shed salary not replacing.

They'll just replace Hoffman with Tippett (v similar players) no need to spend a 3rd and 5(?) mil for a liability at 5v5 to replace Dadonov

They pretty much have to replace Hoffman and Dadonov with guys making under $2M to hope to reach breakeven next season.
