I like Bonino at 3C but I think Kerfoots value is low and he'll be the only remaining piece from the Kadri trade, need to give him until at least the TDL to see if he pans out. Wonder if the Leafs make a trade for Bonino at that point if Kerf doesnt come around, he should run that 3C position easily with Kapanen and hopefully Robertson. Wonder if the Leafs take Zacha instead of Bratt in that Severson trade if possible, high pick that could benefit with talent all around him and good coaching/training staff

The NJD deal is not very close. Maybe Severson for 3 of the 4 assets you listed (such as player, prospect and pick), but Bratt would cost just as much as Severson (if not more).

I wouldn't trade Kerfoot and have Zacha as the 3LW if we trade Johnsson and have Mikheyev as 2LW, Engvall 4LW. Zacha at this current time would be a buy low which could pan out really well

As a Sabres fan I do like Kerfoot, but that seems a little steep. Maybe Leafs could add Johnsson and Buffalo would swap the fourth for a defensive prospect.

I agree it is unlikely, but I do think NJD considers it if one of the picks is a 1st rounder
