HoSang and Pietro

Created by: SlevinKalevra
Team: 2020-21 Dallas Stars
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 28, 2020
Published: Jul. 3, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Give HoSang a look with his buddy Tyler. If it doesn’t work out move Zacha to 2C, Hintz to 2LW, and move Benn up with Segs and Guri. Let Harley get his feet wet then can prolly play him on the second pair with Pietro by mid season. Robertson gets first call up. Boqvist if there’s an opening in the top six. Plenty of cap coming off for Miro’s extension

You need to save cap for Miro. Don't waste it on pietro.

    Heiskanen>Pietro even right now.

    Also, is Thomas Harley ready?

swap Boqvist for a 2nd or 3rd round pick instead and I'd do it from NJ

Cogs, Comeau, Oleksiak, and Johns all come off the books. Plenty of cap space for Miro. If Harley isn’t ready Claesson is a quality third pair guy. I think Harley will surprise people if given a chance tho

7 years for an aging backup in Cam Talbot, Can't be serious. And giving Alex Pietrangelo close to $10 million per could screw up signing Heiskanen need to remember the cap will be flat this year and next year and possibly increase $1 million for the 2022/2023 NHL season.

Faksa and Zacha are a fairly close swap. Zacha probably has a little more value. But you aren’t getting Lindell for a second or third round pick. You guys need a lefty that can handle top pair minutes. Ty might get there eventually but I think Lindell would be really good for NJ. Guys that can munch top pair minutes while adding offense don’t come cheap

As stated, plenty of money coming off for Miro. Term was still on 7 from when I did Pietro when I did Talbot. Obv typo

yeah fair enough. I'm just really high on Boqvist still, not a guy I would move unless in a package for a superstar. Ty could get there as soon as next season, he won't be as good as Q Hughes or Makar right off the bat but I don't think he'll be incredibly far off.

Ty is gonna be a stud. Lindell would give him some time in the shallow end of the pool to develop properly. Passing on Ty for Dellandrea really upset me. I like Dell don’t get me wrong but their ceilings aren’t remotely close. #wrongty

Always liked the swap of Honka for Ho Sang. I would hope that Nill would jump on that. Ho Sang would add some offensive sparks that the Stars truly need.
