Their rebuilding, and they get Drouin. Their accepting! I don’t really think that they care about how much Price is getting payed right now.

No way. Ottowa is not in the position to want to pay price all that money for all those years when they are rebuilding. Plus they are forced to protect him from seattle

That’s a good point, but name all the guys Ottawa would protect. I don’t think Price would even be a problem. They have so much cap space that they could easily afford him, and to get Drouin I think they would do it.

I think they would like to do it only if they had other team's wanting to get these players at a reduced cap hit.

Could easily flip both players to other teams for better assets than they are giving up. It would have to be a calculated risk. They definitely would not do this and keep the players.

I think they would rather protect one of those young goalies than a 32 year old price at 10.5 mil
