-Schwartz's contract is yikes, it will prevent us from signing our young players, I'd rather just keep Drouin
-Poehling is barely an NHLer lmao and may never get that big of a contract in his entire career
-Kotkaniemi will get a bridge deal at 2-3m$ max, that is just insane
-Moving Ylonen is just really, really bad and the fact that it is for Carter is laughable

The Kings would go for that and wonder what they did to deserve such a nice favor from Bergevin.

Right! Habs can get a second and maybe a third for Mete and probably 2 seconds for Lehkonen

This is so bad. I don’t know where to start. If Rado is smart, Dru doesn’t get you Timmins. Anaheim needs a lot of things, but left handed defensemen and depth forwards aren’t on their wish list. Even so, they take this deal and flip the two players for the better picks you should have gotten. You named this young and competitive, but you give away Ylonen for Carter????? And I really wish that was the worst thing on here but then you give a then 30 year old Schwartz 7 million per AND give him term. Nicely done

While I do not love the way you phrased this (it came off kind of childish, and we assume you are not a child. It's just not a good look), I do agree with your points. I wouldn't move Ylonen, either, and I would not trade Mete/Lehkonen for that package. I do not understand the Kings trade at all, and the Schwartz contract will end up really hurting the Canadiens in the long run. However, I did like how the creator of the team did not have them picking first overall. Good job on that, @YoungGM

Well my English isn't exactly on Shakespeare's level so it's possible. It's not my first language & I don't use it everyday

Jake Sanderson has committed to the University of North Dakota this season. Probably playing 2 seasons there per reports. He's not playing in Montreal in the 2021/2022 NHL season. And i doubt Sanderson is top pairing he's more a middle pairing LHD

Avs say no.

Young and NHL-ready RHD on an ELC who projects as a top 4 Dman (if not higher) is worth more than Drouin at $5.5m.

I’ll add to this. The only reason anybody tries to do Drouin to COL is he played with MacK over half a decade ago. Forget the fact he is a bit of defensive non entity at best (a very big no no for anybody playing for Bednar), or that he takes over 57% of his starts in the OZ, he isn’t worth Timmins as well put by Richard.

I'll add further....

If we're moving Timmins (big, big IF), then it will be in a package for someone who fits the team needs better and can play a two-way game. Someone like Rakell or Reinhardt. But even then I'm not really in favour of moving Timmins as he's the only legitimate prospect we have to replace Johnson in the top 4.
