Description
Saad contract won’t happen, but that would be the best thing to keep the team really competitive, when his money comes out from the book, you will be able to sign pasta with it

If you need more money for next year you cantrade kassian at the deadline, to free space
And I feel that lauko would be ready to take that spot

Why does Kase make $4m over 4 years and DeBrusk only makes $3.33m over 3? I think DeBrusk makes more, and I think the Coyle contract will inflate DeBrusk's too. I would guess DeBrusk will sign around $4.5 x 4/5

Debrusk still a RFA at the end, while Kase Ufa

What the heck is with that Bjork trade? I mean, what the heck is with all of it, but especially that oddball deal.

    That logic makes no sense.

So kase gets a more favorable player term, and more money.....no.

That can factor in to the negotiations, but I still don't think he signs for that much less.

Yeah DeBrusk isn't signing that cheaply, All reports that i've seen is DeBrusk could get between $5 mill to $5.5 mill per long term.

It's not unrealistic. How much should he get on a three-year deal, if you were the GM??

Hes only 23, already a perennial 25 goal player maybe even 30 in a year or so. Hes going to land at least in the 5mil range and should get more than 3 years. If I am the GM i lock him up for five years at around 5mil.

Well, that's why I said 3 years, assuming it's a bridge deal. You can get him for $5-6M maybe and for 5+ years if you want a long-term deal now.

But $3,33Mx3 like the OP had, is good for a bridge deal. 2 years, he could get less than $3M and 3, max $3,75M imo. All depends if you give him a bridge or long-term deal.
