Something around Ethan Bear for Virtanen?

Buffalo has Montour and Ristolainen available.

What about Miller? Maybe Vancouver does something like Virtanen, Sutter, and a 4th for Miller, Hutton, and a 2nd?

I wouldn't mind acquiring Bear, but an EDM-VAN swap might be less likely due to the fact their division rivals that are both trying to win now.

I think I'd prefer Montour or Risto over Miller if the cap could be worked out in the deal. I know Miller would have the lowest cap hit of the three, but he wasn't very impressive or trusted all that much in BUF last season.

Neither of Montour or Risto would work out with Hughes because they're both defensive liabilities

Miller plays well with Dahlin. I’m not sure if they will trade him. Sutter probably doesn’t waive for Buffalo too.

I agree neither are ideal targets. It's too bad because BUF would seem like a natural trade partner with their surplus of RHD.

VAN is not moving Virtanen, especially to a division rival. He has finally become a useful player after years of being patient with his development.
