Seabs is coming off double surgery. Its unfortunate, but he'll likely be LTIR before his contract is up. No reason to lose the pick.

Considering the Devils don't have a 2nd or 3rd this year, this is an interesting proposal. I'll tell you this, if Stutzle was still on the board at 4 I would make this trade. Otherwise I'd rather just hold steady and make our picks at 7 and 10/11.
