Trades
1.
MTL
  1. Hutton, Carter
  2. Nyberg, Philip [Reserve List]
  3. Reinhart, Sam [RFA Rights]
  4. 2022 2nd round pick (BUF)
BUF
  1. Domi, Max
  2. Mete, Victor
  3. 2020 3rd round pick (WSH)
Additional Details:
Thinking here is Domi + 3rd = Rienhart + Nyberg (not sure about Nybergs value though) Mete = Hutton + 2nd. I think something like this would satisfy both fan bases
2.
MTL
  1. 2021 1st round pick (COL)
  2. 2021 3rd round pick (COL)
  3. 2022 2nd round pick (COL)
COL
  1. Petry, Jeff
Additional Details:
Just a place holder for any team. Petry resigned at 5.5 Mil for 4 years. I would have put a condition on the 1st but apparently the new CBA is not going to allow this. Also note this is just a starting point

Yeah I echo that. I know it's a placeholder, but a team like Colorado would especially be a bad fit at that price, as we have Makar/Johnson/Timmins. I don't think Sakic trades that package for a 32 year old either.

Yeah I get the Avs wouldn't do it with their young RHD coming up

I added mete for the RHD prospect and a pick we are kind of thin on RHD after Brooks. Beaulieu was a 7th dman could really be anyone cheap

The Price can always be negotiated but I believe this is a fair price for a top pairing RHD even if he is 32. You can look around the league but there are not many other RHD that are as well rounded as Petry. He is a great skater, good puck mover, can hold his own in his own end and capable of playing 25+ minutes a night against the league's top players. He is a steal at 5.5 Mil even if he will be 37 when the contract finishes. Take a look at his advanced stats if you want the guy doesn't show any signs of slowing down.

Buffalo decline. Domi will be useless without good wings, and Reinhart is generally our best RW and in fact the only good option in this position, this deal does not make sense.

Fair enough I didn't realize how thin the Sabres were at RW. Whàt kind of substitution would you consider then? Remember though we are also thin on RW and the value would have to make sense from our side too

Would not trade Reinhart and certainly not for Domi. Reinhart for Gallagher (with extension) would be fair
