No reason for Ottawa to trade Hogberg after the season he had. He looked like a player who could push to be a part of the long term future in Ottawa.

I think that’s a fair offer for Carlo. More than fair actually. However i don’t think the bruins take it.

Good offer but as of now, only McAvoy and Carlo are guaranteed to be here next year for us and that would leave a hole on D. At least the value is there. And as I guy who always wanted Tuch, not easy to decline but #25 is really important.

Ottawa is not doing that, not only are they going to want to keep Hogberg for a long time, a 3rd probably wont get you him because its a late 3rd. Maybe a 2nd gets you him especially considering the season he just had, but I doubt Ottawa takes it. Value wise that is fair or could even be an overpayment for Carlo but I doubt Boston trades him.

Value is there for Carlo, but not sure it's a deal Boston would take as Carlo is Chara's replacement as the defensive work horse for the Bruins

I mean, I’d Also add Brayden McNabb to the deal?

With Nilsson possibly considering retirement due to concussions, and Anderson clearly showing decline (and no longer under contract) Ottawa is not moving Hogberg unless the price is far too good to pass up. A 2022 2nd rounder is an easy no.

The value makes sense for Carlo, but why would a contender trade away an emerging dman on a really good contract for picks
