I got an idea. Make a deal with Tampa where u send them Hronek and u get back Sergechev, as for picks and details figure that out. As for who replaces Hronek draft drysdale with the 4OA pick D core becomes

I disagree Detroit needs scoring like Rossi or Raymond and there is a lot of offensive talent in this draft and the 2021 draft is going to have a lot of defensive talent in it. I think it's stupid to go against the grain. Holland did that in 2018 in a draft loaded with defensive talent and Detroit didn't take a defenseman till their 4th pick in the draft. Zadina has played 28 games this season before being injured. Hughes the player he should've taken is most likely going to win the Calder race. The pick after that Chicago took Boqvist and he looks better than Zadina has.

In general detroit has the pieces and soon will be amazing. they got there 1st line (Bertuzzi-Larkin-Mantha), stole a gem from st louis and got Yzerman as gm ans is considered one of the best late drafters. This man knows what detroit needs. Whoever he drafts (Drysdale, Rossi, etc) will help the team in one way or another and if things dont work out trade for value. sure the rebuild wont be a fast one but they are getting the pieces together and soon could be the wings of the 90's and earls 2000's.
