Description

Florida gets the most exciting player in the league and will surely get more fans in seats. I envisioned In this scenario, Florida wins the Laf lotto, but this does not necessarily have to be the case. This trade is done during the Next offseason So they can get an extension done with Barkov, and so that Edmonton does not have to protect an extra player in the expansion draft.

The conditions on the picks are as follows:
If huberdeau re-signs: Florida’s 2022 first round pick us exchanged for Edmonton’s 2023 first
If Huberdeau does not sign :
Edmonton gets Florida’s 2022 and 2023 first round picks

Now, I do think Florida loses this trade, but I’m thinking they may do it to secure their fan base and/or if they think they will lose either one to free agency.

I did say that in the description, yeah. I was basing this off of what if one of them or both didn’t want to stick around because of reduced spending by Florida

Not sure why Florida is adding a 1st round pick here.

Should just be McDavid for those 2 straight up. If Barokov orp Huberdeau re sign in Edmonton Florida gets Edmonton's 1st round pick.

Also Barkov gets 10M+

1 player who CONSISTENTLY scored over 100+ points is miles better than two players who’s barely made 90 points. The value of a player depends on how irreplaceable they are, not just on how many points they put up. Do you want me to name you every award Mcdavid has won during his 5 year that those two COMBINED hasn’t even come close to getting?
