I could live with that, LA takes Byfield at #2 and Detroit takes Tim Stutzle at #4 win win for all 3 teams.

Raymond>Stutzle
No way Tampa does that, Zaitsev alone probably costs more than it would for them to keep Cernak, plus Tierney will get overpaid for what he brings, that BUF trade is bad for OTT tho, UPL isn't that big of an upgrade on Søgaard that it's good cost Brown a second and downgrading a spec

Ottawa loses that Buff trade big time. Mittelstadt is a 3C at best if he somehow finds his game. Pinto is a fine prospect. 3C probably too but better suited for that role and he's good at face-offs.

Think those draftpicks look pretty good, unless Byfield is available at #3 (which is likely according to some rumors). If Raymond is available at 5, Sens should pick him. Otherwise Rossi or Holtz IMO

Tampa would only move Cernak due to cap, so taking back a ton of cap doesn't work.

No from buffalo. Edit: rethinking it, maybe

way to blow the draft.

I actually like the Penguins trade I just wish it was for Murray instead of Jarry. With this flat cap we have no chance of being able to afford Murray

That’s a 100% win for Buffalo. Pinto has been skyrocketing lately and is looking like a future top 6F. Sogard was a 2nd round pick prospect and a big strong goalie. Take out Sogard and UPL and Buffalo are robbing the Sens still

Take out Sogaard and UPL and I make that trade as Sabres GM. I am obviously much higher on UPL than you are. I would rank him as a top 3 goalie prospect in the world not in the nhl yet.

penguins have no interest. They could do better for Jarry than this.

Oh damn didn’t know that high, I knew he was good tho. But Pinto is climbing into our top 5 prospect list, he’s really good now. Connor Brown was our best forward and would be perfect for Buffalo

I wouldn't mind adding Connor Brown however the Sabres have lots of middle six forwards. They are lacking more high end 60 + point type players. Most Sabres fans and analysts would likely rank UPL second in our prospect pool behind Cozens. While the Sabres pool is nowhere near as deep as the Sens, most in the Sabres community are very high on these 2 players.

I understand your reasoning but Connor Brown is the type of forward you put with 2 elite offensive player because he can cover defensively, energize the line and is still speedy and dangerous. Something like Skinner-Eichel-Brown
