I'm the one who originally proposed an Avs trade involving Komarov + Wilde. I think Jost + 3rd would be an overpayment though, since all the risk is on Colorado's side, as they are taking on a capdump and unproven prospect, for a proven young NHL player and a pick.

I forgot the exact trade, so I just put it in as accurately as I could remember

The three options I suggested as ideas were those listed below, from this AGM: https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/1780384

1) Wilde for Jost

2) Wilde, Komarov, 2022 2nd for Jost

3) Wilde, Komarov ($500K retained), 2021 3rd for Jost

4) Wilde, Komarov, 2021 1st for Jost, 2021 1st

Note that I wouldn't necessarily do all of these; the variety of alternatives was more to gauge value and interest.

Also note that your trade involving Jost + 3rd going back was not an alternative. As I said that would be an overpayment.

I know my trade wasn’t, I just added the trade as accurately as I remembered, which wasn’t that accurate. Out of these 4 I’d do the third one
