Agreed but if you are saying they want a similar agrd 2nd pairing right D for him then you are not going to see many offers. He just has not proven to be worth that to this point. If you want someone with 2nd pairing potential but limited NHL experience then perhaps you get some offers. But someone that has proven they can be top two pair RD requires a larger return than Virtanen.

I dont understand why Canuck fans think this guy is so good. He's been in the league for 5 years now, and the most points he's scored is 36. That's bad. He was drafted 6 overall. The stats show that if he was going to be anything great, it would've happened by now. The guy is in bust territory. I'm sure he'll develop a tad more and be a 40 or 50 point winger tops, but that's it. Those players are a dime a dozen, he's nothing special.
