Don't think any team would trade their 2 best centers in the same offseason let alone the same deal. Not saying the value isn't there, it's just team suicide to trade you best 2 centers not to mention captain.

Hawks accept i guess. I don't want to trade dach or toews but its hard not to with that package. Trade really doesn't make sense for the canadiens though lol

How are you judging this....soley on points?

Let me help clear the picture..based on the 79 games KK played his first season and prorating Dach's 64 games to 79 games to match KK's games played

KK = 34 points, Dach = 29 points (prorated)
KK = 62% offensive zone starts, Dach = 53% offensive zone starts
KK = 32 takeaways/50 giveaways, Dach = 47 takeaways/20 giveaways (prorated)

I'll take Dach and it's not even a close debate.

You can judge it anyway you want. Both are ridiculously young players who had good rookie seasons, thinking one is 'hysterically ' better then another at this point is where you went wrong

I'll take Dach and it's not even a close debate. He's way better defensively and much stronger on the puck. If KK was drafted last year, he wouldn't have gone before Dach or Turcotte and maybe in the mix of Zegras and Cozens but likely after those two also. KK was drafted in a very weak year for centers. I'm not saying he won't be good...he will be, but Dach, Turcotte, Zegras and Cozens are likely going go be better IMO.

Fair enough. I started this convo at work and dont have the proper time to actually look deeper into it but you've made me want to review some Hawks games and see for myself
