I think Kevin Hayes earned somewhat close to what he's getting paid this year...contract isn't great but I don't think he's as unproductive as a lot of these guys were though

Despite his contract being cheaper and shorter than the players here, he probably deserves to be here just because of how much worse he is than the worst player here (obviously other than the 4 retired players).

Parise still brings a lot to the table. The term is terrible but he almost had 30g last year and was only five short this year so for now the amount isnt that bad imo.

Andrew Ladd's is worse than a lot of these guys. Parise, Skinner, Hayes, ect. contribute, Ladd was sent to the AHL

I don't think it's legitimate to put four guys who can't play on the same level as guys who underproduce on the ice while getting paid $9 million

I'd say Johansen is worse but IDK about Kuz...pretty darn good player and one of the core pieces of a heavy perennial contender.
