Honestly with this squad everything has to go right - likely scenario is that bottom 6 and Goaltending get eaten alive

Yeah not even close to getting you both Cirelli and Sergachev Mittelstadt=Meh, Montour+Meh #8 pick means nothing to Tampa right now. Tampa giving up the 2 best assets in the deal. No way Tampa considers that.

Linus Ullmark in 2019-2020 had a better save percentage than other notable goalies that include Price, Andersen, Holtby, hart, Varlamov, Georgiev. Hutton is a liability.

Those ridiculous Tampa trades are starting to get annoying lol. They are in the position to just wait and try to make some room for those RFA's. Sure they don't have the space right now to extend them, but they still own the signing rights. They'll just try to make some room to fit them under the cap. Only way to get them is offering a good trade (so a way better offer than yours), or to get them to sign an OS (which is unlikely in the case of Buffalo)

Take out Mittelstadt and add Cozens and even then i'm not sure Julien Brisebois bites.

0 reason to add Sergachev to that trade, and your over cap by like 3 mill

Theyre absolutely not in a position to wait. This trade isnt good, but Tampa needs a mircle this offseason to not lose one of their core players. Cirelli, Point, and Sergachev don't have NTCs or NMCs, theyre going to be way easier to move

Try Killorn + Cirelli maybe... I don't think Tampa will trade Sergachev easily and this isn't enough. Of course with Dahlin on the roster there's not much use in getting Sergachev anyhow as hell earn his living with offensive zone starts and PP.

Josh Anderson would only cost a 2nd. Not a 40 point vet and a top-D prospect

If they buried Hutton they could sign a veteran backup for around $2.5M and goaltending would be a strength rather than a weakness.

Yes they are lol. Unless any of their RFA's sign an OS, they got the time to figure things out and to try and somehow move some NTC guys (which will be very hard). Sure, those players you mentioned are way easier to move, but Tampa wants to win a cup and trading any of those players would significantly weaken the team. Since most contenders are up against the cap and with all the uncertainties, it's very unlikely those RFA's get an OS from a team they like. Tampa will just wait, try to make room and if they fail, they hope to sign them to a Labanc-contract. They aren't in a hurry because they own the signing rights for a couple of years

You know they have to sign contracts to play with Tampa? Sergachev Cirelli and Cernak would all 3 have to agree to a $1 million contract right now to make the team work. Palat Gourde and Johnson currently have full no trade clauses with 0 reason to waive, and Killorn has a 16 team no trade, and is the least likely to waive for those teams on his no trade list and is only 4 mill against the cap

Sabres could only make the playoffs as a surprise team like the Flyers this year.

Only if you offersheet him, because we won't trade him at that rate. And y'all can keep Samuelsson; we don't need LDs of any kind at all, really.

Tampa already has 2 top four LHD under contract they should trade serg and they can’t afford cerelli. They can’t trade vets because of NTC. And I think it will be very hard to convince them to leave Tampa for another team.

Um. They can and they will afford Cirelli. They may take a hit on trades of other players, but Cirelli is going to be a priority.

Here's what makes it a lot easier:

CLAUSE DETAILS: Starting July 1, 2020: Player submits a 16 team no trade list.

It'll be November 1st this year now, but Killorn can be traded without his explicit permission.

I have no problem with Tampa trading Sergachev. I don't think (a) this offer is enough or (b) that Buffalo should persue him anyhow.
