The problem with offersheets, is it takes two to tango. Point wouldn't sign one last year.

Winnipeg should just trade for Cirelli, then they can sign him for up to 7 years

Or opens the door wide for a 11/12 million offer sheet for laine a year later, might be a slippery slope. The door is open obviously all ready, but jets may still have cap room protection without cirelli

Yeah Tampa probably matches that offer sheet, And then moves both Sergachev and Cernak Cirelli means a lot for Tampa he's their Selke candidate, No way Brisebois lets him go.

I doubt Tampa Bay trades Cirelli or Sergachev willingly. The only way I see those two leaving is from an offersheet. Although I hope I'm wrong and the Kings trade for Sergachev!

It seems like the players on the Lightning love it there, beautiful city and a great team. Every guy is different so who knows, but I’m not sure guys are dying to leave Tampa

I feel bad for Laine, taking less money on the short term, now with covid19 effecting the cash flow, he'll never get to recover the money lost from a big payday. Covid19 really makes Dubas and company look stupid.

They have both said they want to stay with Tampa to the local beat writers here in Tampa. Sergachev went further and said once they know how the cap will work next year he and his agent are open to any kind of deal that allows him to stay.
