I wouldn't give Schultz more than one year and not more than 2.5m$. He's been declining hard since his 51 pts season in 16-17

Rather keep the better than focus on the hand... Stecher would fit well in TOR tho...

Sutter is more of a 4th liner, (makes more?) and is a defense first forward which CAR doesn't really need

Maybe roll 7 d-men lol... play 11 forwards, with JT, WN, MM and AM playing that much no need for a guy who'll warm up the bench for 52+ minutes per game

shade under 20 mil to resign Pettersson, Hughes, Pearson, and Demko. Pettersson and Hughes are 7-8 range, Pearson I think 2-4 (I can't tell with middle six forwards and value)

Sutter is a righty who can win draws but he more expensive than Dzingel. Dzingel offers more scoring depth than Sutter.

The move doesn’t benefit Carolina enough to take on the extra million. We will be in cap crunch.

In genral the Canucks will struggle to extend Hughes and Petterson. There only hope is a cbo being granted or Ericksson agreeing to terminate his contract. Even than things wont be that easy.
