Agreed. Those are bad contracts for VAN for sure, but Baertschi, Sutter and Benn all expire a year from now so they don't affect the big paydays for Petey and Hughes. Eriksson = Boychuk contractually, but the Canucks don't have a comparable to Ladd's contract after that. I mean Myers' contract is bad, but at least he's filling an important role on the team.
