I love these kinds of rumours about Hall they make me laugh! Hall was born in Calgary yes and lived there until he was 13 when his parents moved to Kingston Ontario where they still live in his childhood home! So home for Hall would be IMO one of Toronto, Montreal or Ottawa not Calgary.

We don't need to pay strome. he is a great player but a product of panarin and has inflated stats. that 2nd is a player who will be $925K for 3 years which is beyond more valuable than a $5M 3C playing well with a superstar. Kamenev might also go back to the KHL, so there's risk on both sides of that trade. Kamenev isn't waiver exempt anymore which means that he has to be kept up as a 13th forward, whereas Rykov has 1 more year of waiver eligibility which gives Colorado roster flexibility.
