I have as much chance playing for the Sabres as M NTC Killorn does. You really think Palat waives his NTC for Calgary? Really?

Wings not trading Hronek who proved alot last season being the only true top defensman on this team for Sergachev, who wants to get paid and was not even the top dman on his team.

Yzerman will continue to build with the draft. Also Tampa is in no position, cap wise and NTC wise, to exact any kind of return unless they sweeten the pot.

Hronek is already every bit as good as Sergachev, Noway Detroit's dealing Hronek unless we draft Jamie Drysdale which i doubt we would now.Detroit easily declines that offer.

Everyday you tell me Detroit is drafting someone different. Yzerman said he's going to take the BPA. In my mind thats Rossi or Drysdale at 4

So Detroit is heavily linked to Cole Perfetti now the Michigan connection playing in Saginaw and Jimmy Devellano and Chris Osgood are part owners in the franchise. So things change Tampa is in no position to dictate what they get for either Cernak, Cirelli or Sergachev. Need to be realistic here Deven if we do draft Drysdale he's probably still 1-2 years away from seeing any NHL action plus there's no guarantee's that Seider makes the team so it leaves us thin at RD. Detroit's in no positin to be dealing their best RD right now. Maybe things change down the road but for right now it's a no go.

There are other connections like Hakan being on the board of governors for Frolunda (Lucas Raymond). Also just because we have a close connection doesn’t mean we are going to take that prospect over another. This is the same effect with FA (look at all of the gossip about Trouba you had).

This Detroit trade seems like it just pushes their cap troubles back one year because Hronek is going to way a big raise. What doesn’t stop Detroit from OS him next season at second round compensation?

Yeah with Trouba i was just basing it on what Darren Dreger was saying, And i totally agree with the Frolunda connection with Hakan i can see Lucas Raymond as well..

I was talking more about some of your comments (assuming your Number1RedWingFan50 on HFBoards or something like that) where you stated one of your family members is a bartender at Trouba’s local bar and heard he wanted to come back to Michigan. Connections happen all the time in hockey and don’t mean too much.

Yeah that's me and yeah my Nephew runs a bar there in Rochester Trouba and my Nephew Mark grew up together and there was speculation of him possibly wanting to come home. But it was mere speculation things changed his Wife Kelly Tyson is going to be a Dr in New York hence why he signed with the Rangers. Had he been dealt to say Detroit when he was holding out he'd be a Red Wing right now things change.
