Description
Everyone gets new scenery.

The biggest thing here is Vegas trade. I think value wise. Pretty fair. Fleury with no retainer doesn’t have a ton of value. So it’s basically a second and burns for tuch. Not bad. It fits both teams needs.

Burns would be mad. And where’s a place you get to play San Jose 4 times a year and play in the best up incoming market? Vegas. He knows de boers system. He played really well in it.

Additional Details:
Tuch had a down year mixed with injuries. Fleury also had a down year.

Vegas gets a offensive defense. With there very balanced defense having burns would be a weapon and he is right handed, something the don’t have a lot. Vegas also saves almost 4 million to resign Lehner. With prospects like krebs and glass to step into bigger roles losing tuch won’t affect them too much.

Why would Vegas trade their (admittedly aging but still) starting goalie, to their arch nemesis, who is also in their division?

To re-sign a younger, cheaper, better option in Lehner

Moving Fleury to sign Lehner is not in itself a bad idea at all. I just don’t think they trade him to us...not in a trillion years. Idk.
