what's wrong with lucas wallmark?

i guess depends on how highly u view hague. I don't think he will be better than Hanifin.

Peg says no. Stasny will be almost 2 years older than when we had him for P/offs and can’t see Chevy helping vegas with their cap hell. It will take Vegas adding for us to take the cap hit.

Flames pass. Hanifin is a young cost controlled defenceman with a lot of potential. Not enough coming back. Ask what you would want for Shea Theodore. Not saying they are 100% equal but that’s the ballpark flames are looking

I dunno, I'd consider it. Tuch took a step back this year but hes a young cost controlled BIG power forward who put up 0.7 point per game last season. He's also signed long term and shoots right which fits a need for the Flames. Plus Hague is breaking into the league now and looks like at worst a solid bottom pairing guy with top 4 potential. Flames would need be sure they can add another top 4 Dman via free agency though, and ideally he'd play the right side. Someone like Vatanen would fit the bill nicely.

Of course, the biggest thing is that the Flames would need to know exactly why Tuch took a step back this season, and be pretty confident he could get back on track.

It’s a lot of question marks. Our defence isn’t what it once was. If we are trading one of our top 4 young guys I’d want more of a sure thing.
