U really think Monahan & a 1st next year get it done?
Bc Bennett & Parsons have zero trade value when you’re talking about a player on Eichel’s level

More like Monahan, Tkachuk, Lindholm, 2020 1st
for Eichel & maybe another piece

Probably seems like a lot,
but you’re gonna have to outbid MANY teams to get him
And it’s gonna take high quality pieces u won’t wanna part with

The trade package listed is an easy no from Buffalo. The one above is better, but still a no. Without an elite 1C coming back, Eichel doesn’t go anywhere.

If the Sabres were to consider moving Eichel this deal would likely get their attention. Monahan, Tkachuk, Lindholm, Anderson, 2020 1st

If a team already has an elite #1C then they are probably not looking to acquire an elite #1C.

What has Eichel done to justify that package? A disgruntled player making 10 million a year without ever winning hardware or seeing playoffs....

Eichel is an amazing center but nobody would ever give up three 1st line players for him who are all 25 and under, plus a 1st, plus another piece. This isn't Eric Lindros or Mario Lemieux in their primes we're talking about. It would take a player like Tkachuk who is a young star and has lots of control left, plus some valuable futures.

That’s even more ridiculous than the original trade proposal. I’m not a CGY fan but if they sent just Tkachuk and Monahan BUF would probably have to add a little, you are taking about a young 1C that has scored 80+ pts in a season and one of the best young power forwards in the game, yet you think they are adding Lindholm and a 1st. That’s just crazy.

Besides being a play driving monster and nearly a ppg career player (will be after 2 more seasons if it takes that long) he’s done nothing I guess. You serious man? Watch a Sabres game with him and one without. For the 100th time, he is signed 6 more years at a reasonable 10M, so barring overpayment, like severe overpayment, he won’t be moved and shouldn’t be moved.

Eichle is not worth Tkachuk, Monahan Lindholm and a 1st. Give your head a shake. Flames wouldn’t trade Tkachuk for eichle. Not a knock on eichle or saying Tkachuk is the better player, but Tkachuks interchangeables are built for our team. He fits our needs like a glove. If flames were to offer Tkachuk Flames would add but it wouldn’t be a huge add like your suggesting It would be a mid tier prospect / pick

There is no way in hell they would get a return like that for Eichel. Good lord. What exactly do you think Eichel is? He is not McDavid, not even close, and McDavid wouldn't even get a return like that. That's 3 1st liners and a top 3 Dman all under the age of 25. Plus a first. And that just "gets their attention"? Haha

Exactly that is why he won't be moved. He is widely considered the most important player this organization has ever had. Not necessarily the best but the most important to this franchise. The organization ranked for 2 years to acquire a player of his caliber and since he has come here he has been about the only positive thing the organization has been able to hang their hat on for possible future success. So for him to be traded right now they would need a severe overpayment which I agree no other team would do and thus it will not happen unless the situation becomes untenable. If it does he would be traded to a team with a deep prospect pool for futures that could be sold as developing into a return as listed above. The flames simply don't have the prospects so they would not be a fit. This would have to be with a team like LA or Anaheim.

Listen, it’s Jack Eichel, not Connor McCrosby on a 15-year contract at a $7M cap hit. BUF fans are right to demand a lot for Eichel, but this comment is absolutely nuts.

I couldn’t agree more, but everyone is trying to acquire Eichel, who is not on the trade block. Trading him for anything less will never happen

That’s a great trade package if the Sabres had their backs against the wall and had to move Jack. I’m just stating that he’s not on the block, so they wouldn’t make that trade.

You need to understand that Jack is as valuable to his team as McDavid is to Edmonton, maybe more. Jack is an elite 1C (possibly top 7). The Sabres have no interest in trading him and have no reason to do so. The Sabres are under pressure to win. Trading jack doesn’t help that and Sabres fans understand that. If someone wants him, they’ll need to give up a ton. It’s not happening

What I think is funny is all these people trying to acquire Jack Eichel, who isn’t on the trade block, and then getting upset when everyone says ‘no, that’s not enough’. Then, Sabres fans are somehow the crazy ones for asking for more for a player that’s not available.

Understand the Sabres position. They need to win. Trading Eichel doesn’t help unless they’re getting a superstar in return. And still, it would need to be a severe overpayment, otherwise, why do it?

For everyone claiming that Eichel isn’t happy and will request a trade; he never said he isn’t happy and wants out. He said he’s tired of losing (who isn’t? He better say that). That being said, Even if he wanted out, jack has no power. He’s under contract and even if he demanded a trade, the Sabres have no obligation to do so. Jack can hold out, but then what? Lose out on $10MM dollars? Makes no sense.

You want to present an offer, you need to overpay.

Says a Calgary fan
And i did say Eichel + maybe another piece

Just start picking random teams & what you think they’d have to give up to get Eichel
Then you have to put together a package from Calgary that BEATS that
And not only a package that beats that,
but a package that beats it by enough that NONE of those teams would possibly offer more than what you are

Bc that is what it would take to actually trade for a player on his level
You’d have to outbid many teams

Lol

Eichel has the 18th highest point per game average of all forwards since he entered the league. He's an awesome player but nobody is trading three 1st liners ++ for him.

The Sabres aren't going to trade him unless he asks for one. And if that were to happen they wouldn't get anywhere near the return some in here are suggesting.
