You pay 2nd for Johnsson not Leafs paying 2nd to get barely a 4th liner and 4th round pick.

Couple things stick out. I’d want more for taking on Eriksson. Killorn isn’t going as a cap dump. Bean > Svechnikov. You’re going to anger some Leaf fans.

What salary are we taking on from CAR? If none, I would propose something like Svech + pick (maybe WSH or EDM 2nd) for Bean, or Svech + Cholowski for Bean.

Noway does Eriksson+Demko return a 3rd they'd be lucky to get a 6th for both of them. Alex Killorn has a 14 team trade list, Fat chance of Detroit being one of the 14 teams and fat chance of Tampa giving up a 1st round pick for him. It's already been reported that Perlini wont be qualified. Love the Svechnikov for Bean trade but Detroit probably would still need to add.

I'd do either, Svechnikov+EDM/WSH 2020 2nd for Jake Bean or Svechnikov+Cholowski for Jake Bean.

Bowey was one of the worst defensmen in the NHL last year. CHI does not even consider giving up one of those assets for him

Pretty easy decline from Tampa, Toronto, Carolina, and Chicago. Vancouver might consider

Vancouver would easily accept that especially if they sign Markstrom. 6M x 2 years and more importantly frees up 6M on that second year for EP & Hughes. Most GMs would be planning for the expansion draft where they potentially lose Demko for free.

That heavily depnds on if DiPietro is ready for the back up role

Or they could potentially sign a 1-2 year backup which shouldn’t be too hard this year with the plethora of options.

Detroit would get way more back in the Vancouver trade (I like Eriksson+Demko+2nd for 4th/5th). I wouldn't mind trading for one of Tampa's guys but we would probably have to give up assets to get them unless they get desperate. Even then, Tampa wouldn't have to give up a 1st. Johnsson has positive value so Toronto wouldn't have to pay to get rid of him.
