That's a really smart trade for a Montreal fan to suggest.

Montreal are strong in terms of scoring forwards so Domi is somewhat expendable.

Bellemare is one of the best 4C's in the league, and Jost is very reliable defensively as well and together they'd give Montreal's depth a big boost despite being pretty cheap, and make them harder to play against. Graves would be a very solid partner for Weber.

Colorado would certainly prefer a bottom 6 forward coming back instead of Mete if we're moving Bellemare and Jost, with Lehkonen being the obvious candidate. Failing that just swap Mete for a 2nd round pick. We already have a small LHD in Girard so we need some size on the 3rd pair.
