Why on earth would the Jets do that?

You don't get it...Laine is better than Nylander, plus the 2M retained plus Rosy??? The leaves would have to add about 4 1st round picks

I believe once both fully develop, Laine will be the far superior player. He just has a combination of skills that don't come around often. Instead of sending Roslovic to the Leafs, the Leafs will have to cough up to match Laine's value. But I don't see the Jets wanting to part from Laine anyways. Maybe you can flip Nylander for Ehlers to save a mil in cap but I doubt that as well. I just don't see the Leafs and Jets as good trade partners.

I didn't realize Jet's fans would take an AGM this personally. I mean the title was Just for Fun...And this jetman sounds like a complete douche.
