Dadonov stays in Florida if he's only getting 4x5.5 probably closer to 4x6.5

Khaira for a 6th is fine value, but I don't see any interest from NSH in this deal. I'm sure there is another team that would take him at that price though.

Seems like he has a bad reputation thanks to his girlfriend. One of the best things the Oilers have going for them outside of having McDavid, Draisaitl and RNH is that they seem to have a ton of positive team chemistry.

I don't see him signing 4 years. He has no reason to do that.
Don't get me wrong, that should be the way it is. But it's not.
And as long as teams are willing to tack on years it won't be.
This is why they should aim younger for FA, 26-27 range. You can give a 6 year deal and not get killed on it.

So I actually just looked into it, cash flow wise they're basically the same as they'll both have 2 Top 6 F to sign and a Top 4 D , difference is the leafs don't have a James Neal or Kris Russel contract to move to make space - They have Johnsson and either one of Kerfoot or Kapenen to either move up in the line up or trade for space

Wouldn't exactly call it a similar situation. One team has $4M in space the other has $17M. Russell's contract is only $1.5M of actual dollars so his contract is of benefit to teams who want to reach the cap floor while still saving real dollars. I would say the Leafs are in a worse situation given how Matthews, Marner and Tavares take up $33.6M combined.
