I knew someone would say that about Couture lol. The guy is EASILY in the top 5 of the most underrated players in the league, come playoff time there are 3 forwards I want to start my roster and they are Sidney Crosby, Patrice Bergeron and Logan Couture

How are you evaluating this? Points? All around play and if so, how closely are you looking at FO%, minutes on ice, offensive zone starts versus defensive zone starts, etc. Duchene shouldn't be on this list as one example that jumps out.

I assume Stamkos is not here because you consider him as a winger?

If the ranking is based on who is better right now and Couture is ranked that high due to his playoffs performance, then it doesn't matter since SJ aren't a playoff team

Right but that doesn't remove the fact that he's an overall beast who I think deserves to be top 20

I totally agree that he is top 20, but he isn't better than Kopitar and Toews

Doing these sorts of rankings and expecting any sort of objective reality is fool's errand IMO. Reason I say that, with the exception of a standout player like McDavid or Matthews who are noticeably higher as an example, the bottom 2/3rds of this list is so tight anyone can make an argument for any player in this list leapfrogging a couple spots or regressing a couple spots. Let's say on a scale of 1 to 10 Mcdavid is a 10, but 2/3rd of this list is realistically between a 7.50 and 8.50. You are even going down to a 100th decimal point to separate players...for example, one player might be a 8.35 and the next one a 8.40 rating....it's splitting hairs it's so close and HIGHLY subjective.
