I don't think it's an overpay scenario from a Canucks fan perspective. Virtanen has 95 points in 280 games and the pace Roy is on, he would have 72. Plus the slight difference is made up in Vancouver getting a late pick for a 4th liner who is a pending RFA anyway.

Not at the cost of Roy. We already have plenty middle 6 RWs in our pipeline.

Virtanen would certainly be a nice add, but not at the cost of one of our three current NHL-qualified RD's. Now if the prospect was Jett Woo . . .

Well then it would have to be Virtanen and Woo for Roy and the Blue jackets 2nd this year. Fair?

Agree, doesn't really fill a need for the Kings. Virtanen and Motte both require protection in the expansion draft as well.

Probably fair, but rebuilding teams don't trade away high round draft picks.

It’s an interesting idea, but I think Roy means more to the kings than virtanen. I do like virtanen though, just not for Roy.
