There is absolutely no way the Bruins with the cheapest owner in professional hockey is going to pay Krug that kind of money. Krug is with out a doubt one of the most over-rated defenceman in the NHL. Bruins may need to start a rebuild in the near future as their prime time is now over.

He is going for 8 mil on the open market, but has expressed that he will take a discount to stay in boston. So you are right, but for the wrong reason lol. he will go for 7 mil for 6 years is the best guess

As far as "overrated" LOL

Him and Carlo had one of the top 3 best defensive ratings in the NHL this past year, so either Carlo is the best defensive dman in the NHL or krug is actually very good defensively too. He is also a brilliant offensive player (though not the best). He is rated exactly where he should be by most people, but more likely he is underrated when he isnt included in peoples TEAM USA rosters etc etc.

Looks pretty solid!

Probably too much money for Bjork,
too much for Krug (just drop is to like 7 mil)
thats too much for John Moore (he will get a 6th or 7th)
And most importantly, they arent gonna call up Freddy just to scratch him. He either gets a spot or he plays another AHL year (which is more likely considering the INSANE bottom 6 they have next year)

Overall: Very good job! just gotta fix those little things up!

Cannot pay Krug that now. Overpay for Bjork.

Have to play prospects earlier now. I’m ok with that.

According to Debrusks agent they will be aiming for 5.5-6 AAV this summer.

Put him on the Red Wings and he would be nothing special. He is inflated playing on a great team.

I would assume that's for a long-term deal. I think it's best for both parties to do a bridge deal.

Welp i guess Guentzel is just a bottom 6 guy (he plays with Crosby/Malkin) and Backstrom really sucks (he is a pure product of OVI) and etc etc etc etc etc etc etc (i can keep going)

Krug is so overrated. Watched him have a temper tandrum last year and skate entire length of ice to hit the player back and does not even get a charging penalty. An absolute embarrassment to watch.

Wasnt a charge, the NHL.com writers and NHL analysts all had to actually explain it to the dumb fans who thought it was.

He isnt over rated. You simply arent right
