flyers return isn't enticing for them at all... i would have to think Montour or Miller are the ask.

Leafs trade doesn't make sense as they don't have the cap space to take this on.

You absolutely rob NJ of perhaps their best wing rookie.

Don't you think Ghost has negative value?

nowhere near. he's still a viable defenseman and has mostly just seen an offensive fallback. He is overpaid, but also carries bounceback potential. This kind of falls into the same category as Josh Anderson, just a better player in his prime weighed down by a worse contract

I like the Roster build. Only critique would be to try and get Brodie on a 1 yr deal as you are leaving yourself about 10 million only the following year to resign Joker, Dahlin, #2 goalie and fill Mccabes spot. All of that will be some heavy lifting.

Why are the Leafs giving away their second round pick, on top of Kerfoot, for a defensive liability? The Sabres need Kerfoot more than the Leafs need Ristolainen. Should be the other way around.

The thing about bratt is while that appears to be an underpayment (and perhaps it is) , Devils fans value Bratt more than NJ's front office and coaching staff. This is evident by his low ice time and several scratches throughout the year. Their GM said something about wanting to acquire "size on the blueline" so perhaps this deal could be focused around risto too

They have a new GM and Coach, how would you know this?

Lindy was hired after I made this, nice try. Fitz was still the GM during half the season and jesper bratt averaged only 14 minutes a night STILL.

GM doesn't really determine the minutes unless they tell the coach to give more.
