Hypothetical: Edmonton loses in the play-in, receives the 10th overall pick. The loss was a clear defensive issue and Draisaitl has a bad series.

Value wise I think it's pretty good, but Dahlin will be as valuable, if not more valuable, as Draisaitl in a few years time. If you were to wait 2 or 3 years, a Dahlin for Draisaitl 1-for-1 would be considered fair value. So I'll keep our franchise D and look elsewhere for a 2nd line center but the offer is intriguing
