His value to other teams is probably pretty low. He is valued higher within the organization, especially after this year since he is finally on an upward trend. I figure he is a late bloomer with top 6 potential still.

As such, Vancouver is not letting go of him unless it's an overpay. In theory we do this trade, because we definitely win in value. Siegenthaler is a nice return imo for him. However, for the most part outside of vancouver they will not see his value as being the same.

makes sense Siegenthaler is a guy I would hate to lose so that means value would be close to even

VAN decline. They are not moving Virtanen. Canucks are in cap trouble and need RFA controlled wingers.

Coleman fetched that return because TB is cap-strapped and Coleman is on a sweetheart deal. Same with Barclay Goodrow, TB overpaid for guys on cheap deals

oh I completely agree but people using that trade as value for others but no taking into consideration any other circumstances
