Yep both those dcontracts seem right and here is why
Dahlins point totals will make a (9-10 mill contract happen as in his first year he got 44 points in 82 games. This year in 59 games he had 40 points. If he played out the full season he was on pace for 55-60 points. Now lets say 2020-2021 he achieves a 50+ point season yeah 9-10mill contract for 8 years. Cause if we learned anything from Subban, bridge deals on defense man can end up being costly.
If we go by comparables in 2 seasons before their contracts
Chabot before he got his 8million contract had 25 points followed by 55 points a year later. But remember they got him to sign early and while he had 39 points this season there was the chance he may have gotten 60 which would have made his asking price higher.
E. Larsson had 44 points followed by 40 points. However he played 2 full seasons while Dahlin this year only played 59 games but had 40 points.
Subban in his prime before his contract had 53 points followed by 60 points.
As for Joki maybe reduce the money or increase the term if u plan to pay that much
So either 3.5-4mill for 3-4 years or if u want 5-6mill than 5-6 years.
