Description
Seeing as you guys have easily the best center depth in terms of prospects in the league and either Byfield or Stützle being added to that, who would you rather trade to improve other areas of weakness: Turcotte or Vilardi?

I honestly doubt they move anyone at this point. They are a ways away from contending. In a couple years when they start to take some steps, then maybe you see them flip a C for a RHD or something like that. But now is not the time IMO

Ya, I definitely get that. And more than likely that's what will happen. I feel however they are going to run into "problems" sooner than you think though as they could potentially start next season with a center depth chart of Kopitar, Lizotte, Byfield/Stützle, Amadio and that still leaves out, Turcotte, Vilardi, and Kupari which is stacked and one hell of a powerhouse, but not great for development. There's also the argument to move some of them to the wing which is smart but at the end of the day, I think something has to budge.

I definitely see where you are coming from!

Look at LA and OTT, they have 2 of the top 3 farm systems in hockey. LA is going to pick 6 players in the first 3 rounds, OTT has 9 picks in the top 3 rounds.

It's nice to have all these picks and prospects, but the reality is not every single one of them is going to play for you

Neither. If the Kings draft Stutzle, he's playing on the wing. The only reason they'd take Stutzle over Byfield is to fill the organizational LW gap that has been present for over a decade.

If they take Byfield, then they'll shift Turcotte to LW.

If Stutzle:
Stutzle-Turcotte-Vilardi
Iafallo-Kopitar-Kaliyev

If Byfield:
Turcotte-Byfield-Vilardi
Iafallo-Kopitar-Kaliyev
