Sorry buts it’s a NO.

Too much wishful thinking without going into details.

Hawks say no. This deal doesn't work for a few reasons, the biggest being the salary cap. This deal adds money to the hawks cap that we can not afford. There won't be a CBO, but if there is then the hawks will use it on Seabs. So in the case that there is a CBO, there is no value in TOR taking seabs from us. We have no one else to use a CBO on other than Seabs. So its not worth Dach, Kubalik, and Murphy for Marner and a 2nd. I don't care about Kerfoot or Anderson really. Hawks don't want anderson, Crawford is better and will be cheaper than him. The hawks drafted dach 3rd overall in hopes that he is our future 1C, and so far he looks pretty good. In the case that he does develop (the hawks have to assume he will or we wouldn't have used the 3rd pick on him) then he is worth much more than Marner. 1st line center>1st line winger all day long in most cases. On top of dach, you are asking for our young cost-controlled top 6 winger in kubalik who had 30 goals as a rookie and a top 4 RHD in murphy. I give you credit for a creative deal, but the hawks respectivly decline. If there is no CBO and you still want to take Seabs then its a different story

The bruins say no. Dude, didn’t you make an ACGM a day or two ago sending Marner to Boston for Carlo, Ritchie, and Coyle and everyone said that the bruins wouldn’t accept because it just made zero sense for their organization?

Now you wanna send that pile of crap? The other offer was, as a lot of people pointed out, fair value, but just didn’t make sense for the bruins. This isn’t a, “thanks, but no thanks,” like the other one. This is a, “don’t ever call here again,” type offer.

There’s no scenario you can come up with involving the bruins trading Carlo to toronto that will make any sense for either team.

But this time we are giving you back a top 4 rd defender.
How is this a pile of crap?

Who? Murphy? He’s not horrible i guess. Dermott would be a healthy scratch for boston. Zero interest. So it’s a gigantic downgrade at D just to pick up a mediocre 25 year old winger and a bunch of crappy picks? You want to trade matthews for John Moore, nick ritchie, Senyshyn and a coyle 5ths? Didn’t think so.

No to everything. And there will not be a non-cap affecting CBO as far as I am aware. Besides, the Hawks are one of the richest teams in the NHL. Had their been such an opportunity, they could "CBO" Seabrook themselves.

The question is not about who says no, but why would the Bruins help the Leafs? That's the thing,

I understand that Buying out Seab in a CBO should not cost much to dump, so I could understand I guess (even though I wouldn't do it). But I think the new agreement doesn't have CBO's. So then this is a huge no go.

Ya that's bad. Don't forget Dach and Kubalik, and Murphy who gets us Carlo here (even though I can't se that getting Carlo). It's not Horrible. Maybe we should take out Anderson, and I think that is better. And Seabork of course.
