1.
NYR
  1. 2020 7th round pick (LAK)
LAK
  1. Reunanen, Tarmo
  2. Staal, Marc
  3. 2020 7th round pick (VAN)
Additional Details:
- Reunanen is an underrated LHD in our system who I don't necessarily see beating out Matthew Robertson or Zac Jones so I think he is expendable and to entice LA for Staal deal as well.
2.
NYR
  1. 2021 2nd round pick (TBL)
TBL
  1. Andersson, Lias
Additional Details:
- Cheap. Take chance on upside. Brisebois seems to value that so operating under that premise.
3.
NYR
  1. 2020 2nd round pick (SJS)
Additional Details:
- Strome is priced out in NY. Not sure why some fans are getting tight about it. Play Chytil at 2C and you get the same production predicated on Panarin's superstardom and Chytil being better suited at the C position helps his development significantly. Re-Signing Strome would be a mistake. it's time to properly utilize our cap and with a cheap and better option like Chytil it's the right move. Plus, that 2nd rounder will be $925K for 3 seasons which Is value within itself for people who call it an underpay.
SJS
  1. Strome, Ryan [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
- Strome adds much needed RW depth for San Jose and I could see him being a very solid fit there. Maybe playing with Couture or Hertl Is offsetting that Panarin talk because they can "carry" him.
4.
NYR
  1. Zacha, Pavel
Additional Details:
- NYR need a better defensive Center and I think Zacha fits pretty well. Put up 32 points so there is some offense to be had but for our 3C it's that big of a deal.
NJD
  1. Crawley, Brandon [RFA Rights]
  2. 2020 3rd round pick (DAL)
  3. 2021 3rd round pick (BUF)
Additional Details:
- LHD, could be something for his hometown Devils. Not sure too much on Zacha's value if you guys wanna fill in.

The Kings could be interested in Staal if their other preferred LHD targets don't work out. You probably wouldn't need to include the prospect, but it doesn't hurt. A lot of things would need to fall through for it to happen though.

I like the Strome trade but It’s heavily one-sided, honestly we should give up a mid level prospect to make it more fair, where are you guy weakest in your AHL?

Oh for sure! I just feel like Staal Is a good short term option to shelter guys like Bjornfot before throwing them in the fire and Leddy seems to be on the decline so idk if you want his longer term deal over an expiring Staal.

I don't imagine. What would you see as a fair return for Zacha?

Tampa is moving the TB pick and it doesn't matter. TB pick is gonna be like #28 while SJ 2nd will be around #37. Doesn't matter. As for AHL depth I would love Gambrell, Dahlen, Blichfield, Chekhovich, or Letunov. Anyone of those guys would work.

The reason a lot of people don't seem to get that Strome isn't that important to us is that they think we're going for the SC as soon as next year which is... not accurate to say the least... what we should do is keep playing ADA, Fox and Lindgren big minutes, give the net to our 2 headed monster, increase Kakko's, Chytil's, Lemieux' and Gauthier's ice time while giving decent rookie-like ice time to Kravtsov and Miller.

The contending for the cup doesn't start until the 21-22 season and that's ok

Gambrell would be a no problem bit I really like Chekovich.
What about ... Blichfield? Chekovich Has a higher ceiling but blichfield has a higher floor. I would offer up the 1st over the 2 Nd but the sharks badly need top level prospects we have a ton of B-/c+ prospect but only a few B+\a level prospects

I dont think Staal is getting moved. Valued very highly by the whole organization, and is not viewed as a total cap failure, as he is by virtually everyone on this site

Well the Kings would want the 2nd year for the expansion draft exposure requirement since at least one defenseman has to be under contract that played 40+ games the season prior or 70+ games in the two seasons prior. MacDermid currently satisfies that requirement, but he's a poor training camp or season-ending injury away from the Kings being screwed and having to expose a defenseman they otherwise wouldn't want to (i.e. Walker or Roy).

I think the Devils would want something better than that for Zacha, I'm guessing one of those picks would need to be a 2nd.

Sharks accept as is. If you want another player or prospect for the bottom 6, Gambrell, True and Letunov are all decent and we’d be happy to move one or two of them.

HUGE no on giving up either Blichfeld or Chekhovich. Of the two if rather let go of Ivan, but they’re both some of our better prospects and Blichfeld is better sniper than any other prospect we have in the system. I would seriously hold onto him.
