If you take MarJo out of the Raanta trade, I bet Arizona would take him at 50%

They should, they would probably accept without Samuelsson there. 8OA will probably be at least Domi level

That's horrible value for Raanta. He's still very good, even if he can't stay healthy.

He can’t stay healthy and will be a UFA. His value is not that high right now.

He's worth more than one of the worst goalies in the league and a 4th.

Lehner half retained brought a 2nd rd pick, Raanta doesn’t hold Lehner’s value even if Lehner was traded at the TDL

Well Yotes sure as hell don't want MarJo, they are trying to move cap out by trading Raanta. I think a small add can be put in though

Why getting a Great young player for a NHL 60-70 player in Domi... 8OA yould get you one of Lundell, Holtz, Quinn ( not sure if one of them would do 60Pts +...
So NO from MTL... we are not rebuilding... we need today assets as we do have enough pick for the next 20years lol

When did Domi become a 60 point average player? He paced 50 points this year and has paced ~50 points every year but last

Agreed leave Mete and Samuelson out otherwise MTL needs to add 2020 2nd on their end.

This team should at least contend for the playoffs if healthy. If the youth continues to develop this roster should make it

Definitely like the moves for Domi and Raanta. I think they need to at least re-sign Larsson, if not Girgensons as well so you can have a more defensive line you can throw out for d-zone faceoffs. You don't want Domi or Cozens starting in their own zone on the road, and you won't get to most out of Eichel if it has to be him. Don't think Vegas will give up Tuch and that money can get both of them signed for sure. Would probably keep Montour and try to trade Risto for a top 6 winger.

That's what they say now and then first thing you know, you're stuck with Dal Colle.

Question: is this trade done before "Part 2" of the Lottery is conducted? If so, Montreal would be in a position to have a 25% chance at the #1 overall and, worst case, would have the #8 and #9 picks. Bergevin would be crazy to say no to this.
