if the pittsburgh pick wins it reverts so it would have to be the minny pick that would win for this to be close but buffalo still declines

yea thats pretty much what i thought and the only reason i was trsding kaprizov cuz of lafreniere replacing him

I don’t think Minnesota has the pieces to acquire Eichel. Other teams could make much more appealing offers if he truly was available

other teams probably have more to give probably but not many team have a prospect like kaprizov to trade for

Kaprizov is a nice prospect, but he’s just that and also, a winger. Buffalo isn’t trading an elite 1C for an unproven winger, a very good dman, and an aging goalie. Picks are nice, but when you’re dealing Eichel, it’s too much uncertainty. It’ll unfortunately take a lot more than that to get Jack out of Buffalo
