Description

You're not going to please both sides when trading for a superstar. One will scream overpay and one would scream underpay. Don't pay too much attention to the lines. It's never going to happen and it's all in good fun. Most likely both teams decline this, as I don't see the hawks wanting to move two centers under 25, a buyout-friendly contract, and a promising LD with top 4 potential. I still think it's a little too much quantity for BUF, but it's certainly not the worst trade offer we've seen for Eichel.

0 retention or swap matta for Murphy/Boqvist. Honestly you’ll prolly get some saying matta out and one of those two in with no retention, but it’s not the worst offer I’ve seen

I figured, if that's the case he'd have to waive for a bottom feeder. At least we can acknowledge the value is much better.

I think Dach, Boqvist, Saad and the 2020 1st round pick (assumed 9th overall) is a better offer for both sides. Hawks don't destroy their center depth, and Boqvist is a lot higher quality than maata and strome. Plus BUF doesn't retain.

Dach, Strome and 1st is solid start. Matta and Beaudoin are worthless, for Eichel you’d have to drop those 2 and add either DeBrincat or Boqvist. That all being said I think CHI is better off with those guys. Personally I love Dach and DeBrincat and I’m an Avs fan.
