Aside from rivalries and divisional opponents; is the value that far off? It seems decent to me provided Palat waives and he just might considering that Boston is a Stanley Cup contender and he'd literally complete their top 6.

Detroit does need a stop gap defenseman to play the left side. The price for Moore is very fair just not sure Detroit is going to want a player with 3yrs left. In case it doesn't work out but this is one of the better deals I seen.

Why would we help tampa?

Thought i do agree this could be a solid idea:

So try Palat for Cehlarik and a 3rd or maybe a conditional 2nd based on how he performs! (they have to move him, so they might just take that deal. Anything more, the bruins probably dont want to do it)

Only way Tampa and Boston would trade is in a minor league deal when neither team is in contention.
