No way Engvall plays that high up in the lineup. He is a 4th liner or a scratch.

Marner should be back with Tavares and Nylander with Matthews.

Johnsson will not be ready for the playoffs. This is known.

Jeez, Engvall shouldn't be higher than 4th line based off the end to his season

engvall has a lot of potential and he’s a very strong skater. also, without johnsson and playing kerfoot third line center, like he should, i don’t want to play kapanen second like and leave kerfoot who is struggling with robertson and mikheyev. robertson who hasn’t played an nhl game and mikheyev i’m still unsure of. i think engvall can play at that level so why not give him a chance.

Because he isn't good enough.

This is the playoffs. There is no time for "giving people chances" to see if they can or cannot.

4th line or press box IMO, but, no way he plays on one of the top two lines.

the “playoffs” who the hell cares. every leafs fan knows it’s not gonna happen this year. this team has too many inconsistencies. in a year or two... sure! maybe they could go all the way but for now we need to focus on making our team and young players better. especially our defence....

What does that have to do with Engvall?

I am responding directly to the line-up that you have created here with Engvall as a 2nd line LW. That is ridiculously above his ability and skill set. He is a bottom six forward and decent penalty killer. That is what he will always be.

No thanks.
