There is no deal that makes sense between these two team for Eichel

Top 10 D man in the league, 2C and a 1st for Eichel. I don't see how that couldn't be close.

Well, again, you are creating these strange threads. Buffalo says no, Boston has only Pastrnak as the main part and they simply cannot make a good futures offer with elite prospects and a high first.

McAvoy isn't a top 10 D-man, Coyle is a fringe 2C and is aging, and the 1st is going to be pretty late.

Deal doesn't make sense, as Bruins won't trade McAvoy and don't have enough to get Eichel, but yes, McAvoy is a top10 D... I mean, if you take defense in consideration.

First off you're totally delusional if you honestly believe that Charlie McAvoy is getting dealt, Noway Sweeney deals McAvoy. Coyle is a fringe 2C at best and a late 2021 1st round pick doesn't cut it. There's no freaking way Boston can acquire Eichel and afford to resign both Krug and DeBrusk with a flat cap can't be done. both Krug and DeBrusk are getting more then what you signed them for.

Realistically, it wont be pastrnak. It will be a heavy futures package with A prospects and multiple firsts. I would guess some kind of cap would be coming back, likely a short term middle 6 forward no longer pulling their weight- its a cap league and you wouldnt want to limit teams to great prospects/picks teams that just so happen to have 10 million in cap space. Teams that want to hold tight to their top 4 prospects need not apply- see thompson, tage for an explanation. Teams that only pick in the thompson, tage zone, the 25-31 picks, like boston, probably are gonna get lapped by several teams. Thats my two cents, but i bet thats closer than 90% of the stuff ive seen on here.

If this is not Pastrnak, then there is no deal with Boston, they cannot offer such elite prospects as Hughes, Zegras, Dach and so on, and they do not have valuable first rounds.

Oh i agree, boston is a horrible fit. Im just saying theres no regrouping with another lesser package of players, its all futures and some bad cap to grease the skids.

I agree that Boston is not a good fit, but theres no way if Eichel gets dealt its gonna be for a Pastrnak level guy. It doesnt make sense for any team to do that, youre subtracting too big of a piece in the current. I agree with you in the sense the most likely deal will be centered of younger players who MIGHT develop into Pastrnak/Eichel level guys.
